Roscommon club remembers ‘quiet man’ who loved the GAA

A County Roscommon GAA Club is mourning a frequent visitor to its club grounds who loved the GAA.
Seamus Kilcrann, father of Kilglass Gaels Club Chairperson Niall Kilcrann, passed away earlier this week.
In a tribute on social media, Kilglass Gaels said that Seamus was “a frequent visitor to our club grounds as he loved the GAA.
"He was one of the supporters who would watch the game quietly and analyse it later with Niall.”
As a mark of respect, the club’s flag is currently flying at half mast at Kilglass Gaels’ club grounds in Rooskey.
The club extends its sympathy to Seamus’ wife Kathleen; his children Nuala, Shane, Míchéal, Dermot, and Niall; his grandchildren Chloe and Caitlin, his sister Patsy Padian, and his extended family and friends.
The late Seamus Kilcrann will repose at his residence (N41 RY29) on Friday, August 29th, between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m..
Mass of Christian burial on Saturday, August 30th, at 12 noon in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Rooskey, followed by burial in Kilbarry Cemetery.
