Pádraig Pearses’ Eoin Colleran has finished as the joint second highest scorer in this season’s Sigerson Cup according to X page Gaelic Statsman.
The inter county forward tallied 3-18 across the University of Galway’s run to the semi final stage.
Moy Davitts’ Cian McHale, who helped UL to win their first ever Sigerson Cup, finished as top scorer with 2-27 to his name.
Colleran was the highest scoring player from open play in this season’s campaign as all his tally in this season’s campaign came outside of placed balls.
He showed his class by kicking 1-8 in an epic win for the University of Galway over ATU Sligo in a do or die round two showdown.
From there, Colleran continued to impress and finished as his side’s top scorer in their semi final defeat to UCC.
The Pádraig Pearses man’s performances this season will have done little harm to his chances of featuring prominently for Roscommon this season.
