Roscommon’s Enda Smith has been nominated for TG4’s Goal of the Year.
The Boyle man’s goal against Down in the opening round of the league has been shortlisted.
Smith’s strike in Roscommon’s 3-21 to 1-20 win at King & Moffatt Dr Hyde Park is one of six efforts that have been nominated for the award.
Strokestown’s Shane McGinley claimed this award in 2024 for his terrific strike against Tyrone in last year’s All-Ireland U-20 semi-final.
The popular Irish language television station is giving viewers the chance to vote for their favourite goal of 2025.
