Roscommon girls help their school to provincial success

There were great scenes at the University Of Galway Connacht GAA Air Dome earlier today as Dunmore Community School, with the help of players from County Roscommon, struck provincial gold.
The East Galway school triumphed over St. Louis’, Kiltimagh, on a scoreline of 1-19 to 1-9 in the Connacht LGFA Post-Primary Schools’ C final.
The team was captained by Meadhbh Hanley from Michael Glaveys.
Ailbhe Brennan, Amy Deane and Emma Heneghan from the West Roscommon club were also part of the winning panel.
Barbara Hannon, also from Michael Glaveys, was one of the team’s mentors.
