Micheál Greene from the Lisacul Handball Club has secured the U-15B singles world title in Kilkenny today, Friday.
The St. Nathy's College student defeated his Armagh opponent, Kevin McGrath, in an exciting final after a tie-breaker, 12-15, 15-11, 11-4.
Micheál won games every day since Sunday to make the final of the competition being held in Kells, Co Kilkenny.
