Roscommon have learned their fate for next year's Connacht Championship.

Prior to this evening’s Provincial Football Draws, Roscommon knew they would play New York in the Connacht quarter final on April 12. It has been ten years since Roscommon last played in Gaelic Park, having missed out in 2021 due to Covid.

Should they beat New York, Mark Dowd's side will face either Mayo or London in the Connacht semi final. Roscommon defeated London 2-26 to 0-13 in Ruislip in this year’s provincial quarter final.

Meanwhile, Roscommon faced Mayo in the 2024 provincial championship, losing out 1-15 to 0-13 at King & Moffatt Dr Hyde Park before Mayo secured a 2-14 to 1-15 victory in the All Ireland round robin stages.

The other side of the draw will see Sligo face Leitrim in the quarter final stage with the winner playing Galway.
