Roscommon man claims All Ireland 60x30 handball title

Roscommon handballer Anthony O’Donnell claimed a national title as he won his All Ireland Softball (60x30) All Ireland final.
O’Donnell overcame Kevin Mullins (Tipperary) 21-16 21-8 to win the Diamond Masters A Singles final.
Meanwhile, Glenn Walsh and Denis Creaton both competed in All Ireland Softball finals last Sunday.
Walsh was beaten in a memorable Golden Masters A final. Limerick’s Paul Hedderman emerged triumphant, prevailing 21-8 17-21 11-1.
Creaton lost out in the Silver Masters A final to Dominic Lynch (Kerry) 21-2 21-3.
Lynch is a former senior champion who has claimed multiple All Ireland titles in his distinguished career.
