A Roscommon man helped an Armagh club win their first intermediate title in 15 years.

Fintan Kelly, who hails from Knockmurray in Castlerea, was part of the Sarsfields squad that won the intermediate championship last Sunday.

Kelly, who won a Sigerson Cup medal with DCU in 2015, helped Sarsfields lift the Atty Hearty Cup for the first time since 2010.

Sarsfields overcame a St. Paul’s side, who have now lost their fifth intermediate final in the last six years, by 2-15 to 1-15.
