Roscommon man kicks 1-4 in DCU’s Sigerson Cup victory

Pádraig Pearses’ Jack Tumulty kicked 1-4 as DCU commenced their Sigerson Cup campaign with a comfortable 3-13 to 0-8 victory over Ulster University last night.
Tumulty, who also found the net for Roscommon against Leitrim in the FBD League, finished as top scorer as DCU started the defence of their title in emphatic fashion.
Sligo’s Luke Marren finished with 1-2 while Conor Dolan found the net and Lorcan O’Dell added three points.
DCU will play either MTU Cork or UL in Round 2A next.
