A Roscommon footballer has been nominated for the Electric Ireland Minor Footballer of the Week.
Roscommon’s John Price is among the three nominees for the award after his Player of the Match display in his side’s 2-14 to 1-15 win over Mayo.
The Pádraig Pearses clubman finished with 1-3 as his opening half goal paved the way for a famous win as Roscommon will now face the losers of the Leinster final at the last eight stage.
Price is nominated alongside Kerry’s Gearoid White and Wexford minor hurler Sean O’Brien.
