A number of Roscommon players have been picked on the GAA.ie’s Football and Hurling Teams of the Week.

Enda Smith has been selected at midfield on the football team after returning to his best form against Meath in King and Moffatt Dr. Hyde Park on Saturday evening.

The 2023 All-Star was the outstanding player on show, kicking three second-half two-pointers to help the Rossies recover from a five-point deficit at half time to earn a deserved share of the spoils against the Royal County.

Meath full-forward James Conlon, who kicked 0-6 in the opening half of that game, has also made the team.

Meanwhile, four Roscommon hurlers have been rewarded for their side’s Nickey Rackard Cup heroics by making the Hurling Team of the Week.

Goalkeeper Enda Lawless, midfielder Eoin Fitzgerald, and forwards Seán Canning and Brendan Mulry have been selected after the Rossies' dramatic 3-16 to 1-21 victory against Mayo in Croke Park.

Mulry is also one of three nominees for Hurler of the Week after scoring 1-2 in the final, including the dramatic winning point.
