Roscommon progress through to league final
Roscommon have qualified for the Division 3A Camogie League final after Kildare beat Tyrone on Saturday afternoon
Roscommon’s flagship camogie side have progressed through to the Division 3A league final in unusual circumstances.
With Roscommon not lining out this week, they needed Kildare to beat Tyrone by between one and nine points.
Mary Grehan’s side got the result they needed as Kildare overcame Tyrone by 0-19 to 1-14.
The result meant that Roscommon, Kildare and Tyrone were all tied on six points apiece but Roscommon advance to the final due to their superior score difference.
This is the second year in a row Roscommon have reached the Division 3A final.
Roscommon are currently set to face table toppers Armagh in the Division 3A league final on Saturday, April 11.
