Mark Dowd has revealed his hand after naming his Roscommon team to play New York this Sunday.

Caelim Keogh, Eoin Ward, Conor Ryan, Darragh Heneghan and Rob Heneghan are set to make their championship debuts as the quintet have been selected to start at Gaelic Park.

There are 10 changes to the side following Roscommon’s defeat to Mayo in the final round of the league campaign.

Conor Carroll, Caelim Keogh, Eoin McCormack, Conor Ryan and Daire Cregg are the survivors from the 19 point defeat at Hastings Insurance MacHale Park last month.

Big hitters Enda Smith and Diarmuid Murtagh return to the Roscommon attack while Keith Doyle has been selected in midfield. Ronan Daly and the in form Senan Lambe are also included following encouraging league showings from both.

Roscommon will be aiming to avoid the drama of 2016 when they escaped with a slender one point win at Gaelic Park.

The game will commence at 8 p.m. Irish time on Sunday (3 p.m. local time).
