Roscommon woman preparing for senior handball final

A County Roscommon woman broke new ground by reaching her maiden 4-Wall All-Ireland Senior Singles Handball Championship final last weekend.
Fiona Tully defeated Martina McMahon from Limerick 21-16, 21-20 in her semi-final. The St. Coman's handballer and Kilbride ladies' footballer will now meet her great rival, Catriona Casey from Cork, in the final at Croke Park on Saturday, April 6th at 1 p.m..
Casey defeated Eilise McCrory (Tyrone) 21-1, 21-8 in the other semi-final.
The last Roscommon player to win an All-Ireland Senior Singles handball title was the great Mickey Walsh.
