Rossies deliver for newly-crowned Connacht champions

The victorious Dunmore Community School panel celebrate this afternoon's Connacht senior schools' football success at the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence.
Four players from Michael Glaveys GAA Club were part of the victorious Dunmore Community School panel that captured Connacht Senior Schools’ glory this afternoon.
The East Galway school defeated Carrick-on-Shannon Community School in the B decider by 1-15 to 0-8 at the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence, Bekan.
Dylan Connolly lined out at centre-back, while the impressive Niall Heneghan started at midfield. Robert Heneghan plied his trade at centre-forward, while Matthew Coleman was introduced as a substitute.
Padraig Martyn’s goal in the 36th minute provided decisive for a Dunmore side that led by 0-9 to 0-4 at half time.
The Carrick-on-Shannon CS panel included a number of players from North Roscommon clubs.
