Six Rossies named on GAA.ie Team of the Week

Six Roscommon players have been named on the GAA.ie Team of the Week following the county’s thrilling 3-21 to 2-22 triumph over Galway in the Connacht final.
Conor Carroll, Caelim Keogh, Senan Lambe, Conor Ryan, Darragh Heneghan and Diarmuid Murtagh have all been included following Roscommon’s first Connacht title win since 2019.
Roscommon have the highest representation on the team while three Galway players – Jack Glynn, Cillian McDaid and Shane Walsh - are included.
Kerry have four representatives on the team including David Clifford while Cork duo Brian O’Driscoll and Mark Cronin have been selected.
Following his virtuoso display, Darragh Heneghan has been shortlisted for Player of the Week alongside David Clifford and Offaly’s Dylan Hyland.
