Strokestown confirm details of intermediate team's All-Ireland semi-final

Roscommon and Connacht intermediate football champions, Strokestown, have confirmed details of their All-Ireland semi-final against Glenullin on the first weekend in January.

According to the club, Pearse McGinley's charges will be in action against their Derry opponents on Saturday, January 3rd, in Ballyshannon at 12.30 p.m..

It is expected that St. Brigid's All-Ireland senior semi-final against Monaghan outfit, Scotstown, will take place later that day.

Scotstown, inspired by goalkeeper Rory Beggan who kicked 0-11, were crowned Ulster club champions for the first time in 36 years following a dramatic 0-19 to 0-16 victory against Kilcoo, after extra-time, in the Ulster club decider on Saturday evening to set up a last four clash against Anthony Cunningham's side.
