The Roscommon U-20 hurlers commence their All-Ireland B championship campaign on Saturday (tomorrow) with a trip to Markievicz Park to face Sligo (throw-in is at 2 p.m.).
Having reached the last two All-Ireland finals, Roscommon will be hoping to make it third time lucky, having lost out to Down and Derry in the 2022 and 2023 deciders.
Manager Kevin Sammon can call on 13 players from last year’s panel, including ten — goalkeeper Jack Ryan, Tommy Morris, Conor Morris, James Connolly, Micheál Hussey, Dylan Ryan, Ryan Conlon, DJ Hession, Paddy Fallon and Seán Canning — that were involved in last year’s final against Derry at Croke Park.
Eleven of the current panel are also part of the county senior hurling panel, while five are also part of the county U-20 football panel.
