St. Brigid’s defender Ruaidhrí Fallon states that the current generation of players are aiming to follow in the footsteps of the team from 2013 that claimed All Ireland glory.
Fallon told the Roscommon Herald that a win on Sunday would be a huge moment for the club as he hopes this team can inspire the younger generation.
“It would be massive not just from a personal aspect but for all the guys on the team. For the club as a whole it would be huge. We all remember ourselves back to 2011 and back to 2013 when they got over the line and how much they inspired the next generation of footballers. Hopefully we will be able to do the same if we get over the line.”
