A Roscommon club goalkeeper produced an outstanding save in the senior hurling championship yesterday.
Roscommon Gaels goalkeeper Brendan Quinn produced three point blank saves in the second half but it was his second stop to thwart Padraic Brennan that was arguably the defining moment of the championship to date.
The save proved critical as Roscommon Gaels secured a 1-17 to 3-8 win to eliminate Tremane from the championship.
