There were scenes of joy last night as Roscommon qualified for the Air Nav Ireland All Ireland U-16 B LGFA final.
Tommy Keane’s side were pushed hard by a determined Armagh outfit, who were chasing three All Ireland U-16 B titles in a row, but in the end Roscommon prevailed 2-16 to 1-16 after an extra time thriller in Kingspan Breffni.
Isabella Downey’s 74th minute goal ultimately proved the difference maker as Roscommon are set to face Laois in the final on Wednesday, July 25th.
