Friday evening’s FBD Insurance Connacht quarter-final against Sligo saw a number of Roscommon senior footballers make milestone appearances for the county.
David Murray’s introduction in the second half during the 1-21 to 0-15 victory against Sligo at the University of Galway Connacht GAA Air Dome saw the Pádraig Pearses defender make his 100th appearance for the county.
Murray has been ultra-consistent over the years and has enjoyed many great days in a Roscommon jersey, including pitching in with 1-3.
It was also a special evening for Éire Óg duo Conor Cox and goalkeeper Colm Lavin who both togged out for the 50th time in Primrose and Blue colours at senior level.
Cox, who joined the Rossies from Kerry in 2019, has hit 2-160, while Lavin has contributed 0-2.
