The Westmeath senior footballers are on the lookout for a new manager following the departure of Dessie Dolan.

The Garrycastle man was in charge of the midlanders for two years, leading them to the Division Three NFL title earlier this year.

Despite difficult groups in the All-Ireland SFC for the last two years, Westmeath were ultra-competitive, and it was expected that Dolan would lead them into Division Two in 2025, which includes a league game against Roscommon.

Dolan was part of Jack Cooney's management team when Westmeath won the inaugural Tailteann Cup in 2022, before going on to succeed Cooney as manager.
