Lisa O'Rourke has plenty of reason to celebrate after another commanding performance inside the ring in Sofia this afternoon.

Lisa O'Rourke will box for a gold medal at the European U-22 Boxing Championships in Bulgaria after winning her semi-final on Thursday afternoon.

The Castlerea boxer produced another commanding performance inside the ring in Sofia, seeing off Poland's Barbara Marcinkowska to guarantee herself at least a silver medal from the championships.

O'Rourke was always dominant, winning over the judges on an unanimous 5-0 scoreline.

She will box for a gold medal on Sunday.
