The Roscommon junior camogie team’s opening Division 3A League game against Kildare has been postponed.
The match was scheduled to take place in St. Aidan’s GAA grounds, Ballyforan, on Saturday at 2 p.m..
However, poor weather conditions have made the pitch unplayable, and an alternative venue could not be found.
Roscommon were scheduled to be in action for the next four weekends in a row. They host their conquerors from last year, Armagh, on Saturday week before finishing up with two games on the road against Tyrone and Wicklow.
This year’s management team includes Mary Grehan (manager), Liam Murray (selector) Noel Fallon (goalkeeping coach), Anthony Jinks (strength and conditioning), and Aaron Mongan, Micheala Keogh (physios).
Meanwhile, the joint captains of this year’s county camogie panel have been selected.
Saoirse O’Driscoll (St. Dominic’s) and Julianne Moore (Boyle) will lead the team in 2026.
