Skyvalley Rovers player helps Ireland win major title

Skyvalley Rovers soccer player Ava Hogan has helped her country to a major title.
With two Irish teams competing in the Associations Cup, Hogan was part of the Ireland Green team that beat Northern Ireland 2-0 in the final of the U-14 competition.
The Taughmaconnell native scored in the final while also bagging an assist.
The Associations Cup brought together representative teams from Scotland, the Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland.
Overall, the Coláiste Chiaráin student scored six goals over the course of the weekend with all games held at the University of Limerick.
Skyvalley Rovers expressed their pride in Ava’s performances and her goal scoring exploits.
