Castlerea Celtic's most experienced duo, Ronan Curran and Cathal Dineen, were celebrating in their soccer club's colours once more over the weekend.

For the 11th time between them, they got their hands on the Roscommon and District Football League's most famous piece of silverware, the Challenge Cup, following their side's comfortable 3-0 victory against Carrick Town on Sunday.

"Great to win this cup again. A cup our club has great history with and one that’s been good to us!

"Ronan and I are fortunate to have lifted the Roscommon Cup 11 times between us with this one just as important as the others. Great to be still going and seeing the brilliant young talent coming through," posted Dineen on Facebook.

For Ronan Curran, it was very much a family affair as his nephews, Dara and John, were also part of the successful Castlerea Celtic squad.
