A local soccer club recently met the Irish men’s soccer team.
Moore United’s girls U-12 team got to meet the Irish side ahead of their crucial World Cup qualifier against Portugal tonight.
The girls were able to attend a recent training session in Abbottstown.
They togged out in their new Ireland jerseys and had a training session with some of the FAI staff. They were also able get photos and autographs with the team and wish them well ahead of the crucial game.
Their meeting with Heimir Hallgrimsson’s team also featured on RTÉ’s Six One News.
