The Castlerea Community School team that has reached the FAI Schools First Year ‘B’ Boys National Cup Final.

A Roscommon school have progressed through to an All Ireland soccer final.

Castlerea Community School won the FAI Schools First Year 'B' Boys National Cup Semi Final (U-14, Small Schools) as they overcame Kerry’s Castleisland Community College.

The Castlerea boys proved too strong as they powered to a 4-0 win.

The victory ensures they progress through to the All Ireland final against either Coláiste Ailigh, Leitir Ceanainn / Coláiste Ghlór na Mara, Balbriggan.

The contest will be played on Tuesday, May 27.

This has been a great few days for Castlerea Community School as they won the FAI Schools Connacht Girls Senior Division Three League Final on Monday.

The Castlrea side came through a gripping affair with Ardscoil Mhuire, Ballinasloe as they won 4-2 on penalties after the game ended 4-4.
