Roscommon woman congratulated on reaching 100 appearances with club

South Roscommon native Kayleigh Shine has been congratulated for reaching the 100 cap milestone with her club Athlone Town AFC.
Shine from Taylorstown, Drum in South Roscommon, has helped the club sit top of the table after six games.
The South Roscommon native has helped Athlone Town secure the Premier Division title, the FAI Cup and two Presidents Cups.
She was capped for the Republic of Ireland women’s U-19 team in 2019.
Shine was part of the Roscommon ladies' football team that lost the All-Ireland Minor B championship final to Longford in the summer of the same year.
She has earned international caps at U-17 level.
Shine is a former player of Bealnamulla LFC in South Roscommon.
Athlone Town AFC stated: Congratulations to Kayleigh Shine, who recently made her 100th appearance for the club!
"During her 100 appearances as an Athlone Town AFC player she has helped win the inaugural and 2nd President Cup, the FAI Cup and the SSE Airtricity Women's Premier Division!
