Charity rock night to support paediatric unit

A charity rock night is being organised with all proceeds raised going directly to the paediatric unit at Mayo University Hospital.

The rock night taking place at the Country Club Bar, Hollymount, on Saturday, June 28th will feature a line-up of 11 live bands.

It’s more than just a music gig and will include free camping and games.

The event is being organised by West Coast Knights RC, a group of motorbike enthusiasts who meet up for group rides. The group regularly supports and participates in fundraising events.

One of its members, Lisacul resident Fiach Hyland, explained that the charity event will not just guarantee a great night, but is supporting a truly meaningful cause.

“This is a grassroots, community-powered event, organised by local volunteers who believe in music, togetherness, and supporting the people who need it most.

“So grab your friends, mark the date, and come rock out for a cause that matters,” he said. Entry to the event is €15.
