Gardaí appealed for witnesses and any video footage following a drive-by shooting in Limerick City on Thursday morning.
Gardaí suspect the gun attack at a house was carried out by individuals involved in a violent rival criminal feud on the south side of the Treaty City.
Shots were fired at the house located at Maigue Way, John Carew Park, at around 5 am.
Appealing for witnesses, Gardaí said they were investigating “an incident where a firearm was discharged in front of a domestic residence in the John Carew Park area, Limerick city, Thursday morning, at approximately 5 am”.
“No injuries have been reported at this time. The scene is currently being preserved for technical examination,” said Gardaí.
“Any persons who were in Maigue Way, John Carew Park and the adjoining area between 4:45 am and 5:15 am this morning and who may have any information are asked to contact investigating gardaí.”
Gardaí also appealed for “anyone with camera footage (including dash-cam), to make that footage available”.
Investigating Gardaí can be contacted at Roxboro Garda Station on 061 214340, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
