Roscommon Town Team will officially launch the Roscommon Christmas Festival 2023 with a mouth-watering Christmas culinary experience using locally sourced produce. Join Sham Hanifa, a multi-award-winning chef, businessman and broadcaster on Wednesday, November 22nd at Roscommon Arts Centre at 8 p.m.. Discover delightful festive recipes and embrace the holiday spirit. Special MC on the night. Enjoy a complimentary glass of bubbly on the night.
Are you a parent of a baby/toddler aged 0-3years? Have you signed up for a free event on Thursday, November 23rd from 10 .m. to 12 noon at The Quad for parents of children 0-3 years, and anyone who might be interested in having a coffee, connecting with other parents and getting some tips on keeping yourself well.
A new Dads & Lads Social Soccer programme in conjunction with FAI Roscommon meets at Roscommon Community Sports Park every Friday evening from 7 p.m. – 8 p.m.. This programme is free.
Roscommon County Council & Mote Park Conservation Group in association with County Roscommon Heritage Forum are delighted to announce the launch of ‘Kilmeane, Co. Roscommon – The Graveyard and the Grave Memorials’ written and edited by Mary B. Timoney. The launch will take place on Thursday, November 30th at 7.30 p.m. in Gleeson’s Restaurant, The Square, Roscommon. The book will be launched by Dr. Daniel Patrick Curley, Manager, Rathcroghan Visitor Centre, Tulsk. The initiative is funded by the Heritage Council as an action of County Roscommon Heritage Plan. Thank you to all who supported the raffle on the night of the Solstice Choir Concert, Friday, November 3rd. A total of €3,190 was raised on the night. Roscommon Branch of Comhaltas Ceoltoirí Éireann is launching a school of music devoted to traditional music in the New Year. The group would like to be able to offer instruments for children who want to try them before purchasing or for use by those who cannot afford their own.
