Gardaí arrested two men after seizing cannabis worth €2.2 million in Co Donegal on Tuesday

Gardaí have said investigations are ongoing.

The seizure was made as part of a joint operation conducted by Revenue’s Customs Service, the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB) and Terenure Divisional Drugs Unit

The man was held at a north Dublin Garda station following his arrest.

The parcels originated in France and were destined for addresses in Westmeath and Kildare
