Organisers say they want the government to further reduce excise duty on fuel and remove the carbon tax.

The collision involved two cars and a van and occurred on the Longford Town side of the N4 at around 7pm on Saturday.

Gardaí were called to an incident on the N4 at the Chapelizod bypass where all inbound lanes are closed and outbound traffic is down to one lane.

Motorists are being warned to expect traffic delays on the N4 at Carrick-on-Shannon next week due to works ongoing on the bridge in the town.
