A special Mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph’s Church in Leitrim village this evening in “thanksgiving for no loss of life and no serious injury” as a result of the recent freak tornado that devastated local homes and businesses.

The Taoiseach visited the village on Monday to get a sense of ‘the explosive force of a whirlwind’ that hit on Sunday.
