14 new homes are being planned for Strokestown, according to a recently published planning notice.

Michael Moylan & Sons Ltd are seeking planning permission to build a residential development at Church Street in the town.

The plans comprise 14 residential units comprising eight one-bedroom own-door maisonettes within two two-storey blocks, and six two-bedroom two-storey terraced dwelling houses.

The proposals include vehicular and pedestrian access arrangements, internal roads and footpaths, car parking, public and private open spaces, landscaping, boundary treatments, site development works, drainage, utility connections and all associated ancillary works.

The proposed works also involve the demolition and removal of existing buildings, walls and ancillary structures.
