2026 local summer show cancelled due to “lack of volunteers"

Boyle Summer Show will not go ahead next due to a lack of volunteers, it has emerged.
Following the show’s agm last week, the current committee announced it had resigned “owing to a lack of volunteers”.
“There will therefore not be a summer show this year, except of course a new committee appears, to steer things along,” the committee said in a social media message.
In advance of the agm, a message was circulated to say that the future of next year’s show planned for Sunday August 9th depended on a good attendance at the agm together with the recruitment of more volunteers.
