Balloons released during Ballintubber parade in memory of late councillor

The late Cllr Anthony Waldron was remembered with a special float at today's St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Ballintubber village.
The Ballintubber St. Patrick's Day Parade, which drew a large crowd, included a tribute float to honour the late Cllr Waldron and the many organisations he was involved with.
Parade organisers said it was only fitting to pay tribute to Cllr Waldron, as he was instrumental in helping to organise the parade. A number of his colleagues on Roscommon County Council took part in his memory.
