Burst water main repaired

Uisce Éireann crews in County Roscommon have repaired a burst which was impacting customers in Kilglass and surrounding areas today.
A normal water supply is now returning to customers in Toberpatrick, Corgowan, Gillstown, Ballymartin, Clooneen, Kilglass and Knockhall and surrounding areas.
Uisce Éireann’s Ger Greally thanked customers for their patience while crews carried out repair works.
“We understand the inconvenience of an unplanned outage and we thank customers for their support while our crews worked to ensure that a normal water supply is returned to all of our customers as soon as possible,” said Ger.
Repair works were completed this afternoon and Uisce Éireann recommends that customers allow two to three hours after repairs for normal supply to return to homes and businesses.
