A charity darts event for Hannah Victory, who is battling cancer, will take place in the Hollywood Bar, Roscommon Town on Saturday afternoon, July 4th.

Hannah Victory (18) from Tonlegee, Fourmilehouse, was studying for her Leaving Cert this year at Roscommon Community College when her life was turned upside down with the devastating diagnosis of an inoperable brain tumour.

The charity even on Saturday afternoon will involve the staging of blind doubles darts competition, with no experience necessary. This is aimed to be a fun darts competition and a good opportunity for people to try it out. A raffle will be held on the day with 20 plus vouchers and hampers up for grabs.

Auctions will also be held for some excellent prizes - a Roscommon jersey signed by the Nestor Cup winning team, darts shirts signed by Phil Taylor and Gary Anderson, a chance to play former World Champion Rob Cross at the upcoming Ballygar Carnival and a scenic flight from Tibohine Airfield.

There will be food and music on the day. The event will kick off at 2.30 p.m. on Saturday, July 4th and all are welcome. For further information, contact Barbara on 0876362359.

A GoFundMe page set up by Hannah’s aunt Barbara in May has already raised more that €65,000 to date.
