A child was hospitalised following a road traffic collision involving a van in Ballaghaderreen yesterday, Tuesday.
A Garda spokesperson said gardaí received a report of a road traffic incident on the Sligo Road in the town, which occurred yesterday at approximately 11.50 a.m..
The spokesperson said that the van was involved in a collision with a male child, who was taken to Mayo University Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The spokesperson said that there was no further information.
