Community engagement event for town area masterplan
The Plots form a unique arrangement of gardens, allotments and trees.
A community engagement event takes place today, Wednesday, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., as part of the project: ‘Enabling the Potential of the Ballaghaderreen Plots’.
The community’s views, suggestions and ideas will contribute to the development of a masterplan for the Plots area.
Located in the backlands of Market Square, Pound Street and Barrack Street, the Plots form a unique arrangement of gardens, allotments and trees.
The meeting, hosted Roscommon County Council, takes place on the ground floor of the meeting room adjacent to Ballaghaderreen Library, Market Square, Ballaghaderreen, F45 E3C3.
This is an open engagement and all are welcome to drop in to share thoughts on the future of the plots and the broader plan to transform this historic backland into a living community resource.
