Contracts signed to progress new Roscommon Enterprise Park

Contracts for the planning and design of a new Roscommon Enterprise Park were signed at Roscommon County Council’s offices on Monday.

Representatives of Tobin Engineering, Roscommon County Council management and project team members attended the signing.

The proposed development on the Racecourse Road in Roscommon town will initially proceed in two phases.

The first phase centres on planning and project management in relation to preliminary design and Part 8 planning.

The second phase will comprise a detailed design to include tender preparation, procurement for the initial phase of the development, comprising 14 development sites.

The objective of the development is to support the regeneration of the site through sustainable and targeted measures that support economic development, address vacancy and deliver reuse and regeneration potential.

Pending planning approval, construction will begin in the third quarter of 2026 with works anticipated to be completed by the second quarter of 2027.
