Council confirms date for reopening of major Roscommon Road

A diversion via Frenchpark has been in place since the middle of May.
The N61 between Boyle and Tulsk, which has been closed for more than three months, will reopen later this week.
The road was due to reopen on August 25th but Roscommon County Council has confirmed that the road will now open on Thursday morning, September 11th following the completion of further works on the N5 road project.
A diversion via Frenchpark has been in place since the middle of May when the road first closed as part of the N5 upgrade.
