County Roscommon funeral directors receive Certificate of Excellence

Sharkey Funeral Directors, Ballaghaderreen have announced that they are among the first funeral directors in Ireland to be awarded the new Certificate of Excellence from the Irish Association of Funeral Directors (IAFD), following a successful independent audit.
The IAFD represents over 280 members who together carry out more than 80% of funerals across Ireland. Every member is required to meet the IAFD Quality Standard, based on the European Standard for Funeral Services, alongside all relevant employment and health and safety legislation, covering everything from processes and equipment to facilities.
