County Roscommon records warmest November day in the country

County Roscommon topped the country’s temperature charts on Wednesday, November 6th recording a temperature of 18.8°C at Mount Dillon, warmer than some of the days during summer.

On the same day Athenry, County Galway recorded a temperature of 18.6°C while it was 16.4 °C, at Knock Airport.

Statistics from Met Éireann on yesterday’s temperatures show new maximum November temperatures recorded at 11 stations, but the overall maximum temperature record for November remains 20.1°C, from Dooks in Kerry on November 1st, 2015.

The previous maximum temperature for November recorded at Mount Dillon was on November 11th, 2022 when the mercury reached 16.8°C.
