County Roscommon triathlete completes third Ironman
Aoife O’Connor was completed her third Ironman.
A County Roscommon triathlon club has congratulated one of its members who completed her third Ironman last month.
Aoife O’Connor — a member of Lough Key Tri Club — was described as a “legend” who continued to “inspire” everyone in the North Roscommon-based club.
Aoife completed the Ironman Portugal in Cascais, just outside Lisbon, on October 19th. It was her third time to complete the Ironman.
“What an incredible achievement to round off the season — all that hard work, those long training sessions, and the countless TTs have truly paid off. Fair play to you, Aoife — what a legend!
“Everyone here at Lough Key Tri Club couldn’t be prouder of you. You continue to inspire us all,” said Lough Key Tri Club on a post on Facebook.
