Driver arrested after 'partying too hard at Longitude'
Driver arrested after testing positive for cocaine and opiates.
Roscommon Roads Policing Unit arrested a driver on Monday after they stopped a car while on routine patrol. There was no insurance and no tax on the vehicle.
The driver was drug tested at the roadside and came back positive for cocaine and opiates.
In a social media post the gardai stated: "The result of partying too hard at Longitude Festival last week. The driver was arrested and the car was seized. Court to follow."
Earlier that day the mobile patrol also observed a vehicle being driven with no NCT.
The driver subsequently failed the road side drug test, testing positive for cocaine. The driver was arrested with proceedings to follow.
