Election first count results are in for Roscommon

The results of the first count in the constituency of Roscommon Galway have been declared by Returning Officer Olivia Bushell.
With a total electorate of 60,278, 30,892 people voted. There were 3,745 spoiled votes, giving a valid poll of 27,147.
The electorate of Roscommon Galway gave 17,258 first preferences to Catherine Connolly, 1,760 to Jim Gavin and 8,219 to Heather Humphreys.
